A Game-Changing Blockade

Holy freaking [expletive], folks! What is going on out here in the gaming industry? My game is out here on YouTube, and I'm like, "God damn it, what is going on?" I just found out on Twitter from other people, and now I checked out on Twitter that this company called Corporate Corruption Completion, and Marcus Authority, which is CMA, has stopped Microsoft from acquiring Activision Blizzard in Great Britain. It's a slam block, not just any block; it's a big-time block. And coming up on CMG, I'm going to go into a rant on this situation and what the hell is going on. Who the hell gave the UK the authority to order Microsoft around and stop the Michaels of the Activision Blizzard acquisition? This is not good; this is freaking nuts!

Buckle Up for a Wild Ride

But hey, coming up on CMG, buckle your seatbelts and get your popcorn ready because it's about to get real. This is CMG, and what is going on, everybody, out here in YouTube land? This is CMG, and I'm coming at you with an exciting video and news update. But before I get started with this exciting rant video (because I know everybody loves my rants), don't forget to smash that goddamn like button and subscribe to CMG.

What's Happening in the Gaming World?

Holy smokes, what is going on out here in YouTuber-land and the gaming industry? What the [expletive] is going on? What's happening out here? Get your kids out of here; I will remove them one by one! Nobody knows; you see that warning message? Get the goddamn kids out and let me do some cursing on this video. Oh, the [expletive] man, this is bad. Microsoft has got blocked from the Activision Blizzard acquisition. This is bad! What is going on? That 68.7 billion deal has been squashed over cloud concerns. What? What does cloud gaming have to do with Activision Blizzard's acquisition? What is so important about it? It's not even a major threat, and all of a sudden, they're going to do this? Oh my God.

The Blockade Explained

Well, we don't know, but we are going to find out. And guess what? It's about to get real. According to this article from The Verge, "Microsoft Activision Blizzard acquisition blocked by UK regulators." Microsoft's $68.7 billion deal hits a major hurdle over cloud concerns. By Time Warner? That Tom Warren guy, again, the special editor Tom Warren guy. You know that Tom Warren guy? That guy right there. He's doing it again with these damn articles. This is from April 26th, so it's recent. Yesterday, I'm making this video the next day, and it's freaking crazy that they're going to block the acquisition over concerns about cloud gaming. But why? What about cloud gaming? What's it got to do with Activision Blizzard's acquisition? What is so important about it? It's not as it seems. It's a bunch of [expletive].

Microsoft addressed concerns around cloud gaming leading up to this decision. The software giant signed cloud gaming deals with Boostward, Uptiers, and Evita to allow Xbox and PC games to run on these rival cloud gaming services after striking similar deals with Nintendo in December. That means they're working together, you fools! They're working with other companies; they're not just taking it all for themselves. They also want to work with Sony, but Sony's being a damn [expletive] about it. These ten-year deals also include access to Call of Duty and other Activision Blizzard games if the deal is approved by regulators, idiots!

The CMA estimates that Microsoft controls around 60-70% of the global cloud gaming services. But Microsoft has a strong position in cloud gaming services. They're not just going to take games and keep them to themselves. They're all about gamers, not just the console war nonsense. It's not only about the UK; it's about the world, man! What are they talking about? It's crazy!

Microsoft's Determination

Microsoft is not giving up; they're going to appeal CMA's decision. Brad Smith, Vice Chair, and President of Microsoft said, "We remain fully committed to this acquisition. We will appeal today's determination by the CMA. We are especially disappointed that after lengthy deliberations, this decision appears to reflect a flawed understanding of this market and the way cloud technology works."

Regulators in Saudi Arabia, Brazil, Chile, Serbia, Japan, and South Africa have all approved the deal. The EU is set to make a decision by May 22nd. Nintendo has already signed agreements; it's too late. There's nothing the CMA can do about it. They're working together with other companies; it's not about taking everything for themselves.

Conclusion

I can't believe this [expletive]. It's a crazy situation, and it doesn't make sense. What do you think about it? Share your opinions in the comments. Stay tuned for more videos and content. Peace and keep on gaming!
