Welcome to a new era, my friends, where being unapologetically you is not just a trend, but a way of life. It's the year 2023, and it's time to embrace the idea of investing in what you want to do and letting your true self shine through. No more hiding, no more pretending – just pure, unadulterated you.

You see, I've never quite understood the notion of creating an image just to please others. Why should we alter our true selves to fit into a mold that society deems acceptable? It's time to break free from these constraints and be the unique, authentic individuals we were meant to be.

The Trouble with Conformity

In this world of nightlife and racing, there are often situations where some people try to stifle your ability to be your true self. Whether it's through financial means or public humiliation, there seems to be a specific group of individuals who delight in suppressing authenticity. It's almost like they're threatened by those who dare to be different, to speak their minds, and to act in their own genuine ways.

I may not have delved deeply into the world of sports, but from my perspective, it seems that there are those who hesitate to associate with you simply because you might express yourself in a way that's a tad more urban or open-minded than the norm in their environment. It's a form of subtle racism, in my opinion.

In the heart of the racing world, which primarily consists of white men, there's a lingering issue. While there are women, minorities, and individuals from various backgrounds in the sport, many struggle to reach the levels that enable them to have long-lasting careers. It's a tough situation.

I want to compare this to candy, just for a moment. We have a saying, "Oh, it's just a joke, obviously." I don't want to go down the wrong path here, as the next thing you know, I'll be hanging from a tree or something. No, no, we're in the Deliverance territory there.

But the good news is, at least I might end up on CNN for something. You know, a special feature on Sean Hannity or Tucker Carlson, or whatever it might be. That's how it goes. But today, it's because of generational wealth that we don't see much diversity in this sport.

I've always believed that society is not divided by skin color but by wealth class. Classism is what truly separates people. It doesn't matter if you're a man, a woman, or anything else – that's my belief.

However, historically, there have been situations that hindered other races, especially those outside the Caucasian ethnicity, from obtaining generational wealth. That's a very diplomatic way of putting it. I'm saying that white people have limited the access of other ethnicities to generational wealth. And because we don't have much generational wealth in other ethnicities, it's incredibly challenging to involve people in this sport.

This is why I'm a strong advocate for grassroots racers in the racing world who don't receive enough recognition. They may be in a lower tier, but it takes a tremendous amount of effort to even get out there on the track. You have to be exceptionally lucky to become one of those NASCAR drivers who are superstars at the age of 14. It's unrealistic for most people, indeed.

What I want to convey is that African-Americans have started making strides in this sport, even if it's a bit later in the game. The general attitude among most African-Americans I've spoken to and dealt with throughout my life is that, as much as I campaign to get them to the racetrack and show them that it's fun, they aren't overly interested. I've shown them videos of top-tier racing and all, but it doesn't quite click.

Racing's Image Problem

Let's talk about the perception of dirt track racing compared to the mainstream motorsport like NASCAR. Dirt track racing is often misunderstood and stereotyped as a sport for "rednecks." But things have changed over the years. Those local weekly racers, who were once the community heroes, now struggle to get the media attention they deserve. And if NASCAR gets a bad rap, it can taint the image of racing as a whole.

Dirt racing has an image problem, and it's time we address it. It's essential to change the narrative surrounding this sport and showcase the talent, dedication, and hard work of these grassroots racers. They deserve recognition and respect, just like any other athlete.

Revolutionizing Live Streaming

One thing that's revolutionizing the racing world is the introduction of live streaming for racetrack events. This innovation has brought a shift in the monetary landscape, negotiations, and budgeting for racing promoters. It's also essential to secure funds for promoters and navigate the competition posed by new racing series.

In a world where everything is digital and instant, live streaming is a game-changer. It offers the opportunity for fans to engage with the sport in real-time, no matter where they are. This not only broadens the sport's reach but also opens up new revenue streams.

Barry Braun's approach to live streaming has disrupted the traditional racing model, but it's been a smart business move. It has brought more money into the sport, benefiting promoters, drivers, and the series itself. And it's not just about the money; it's about connecting with fans and making the sport more accessible to a broader audience.

The Challenge of the Hunter Front Tour

The racing world is evolving, and new players like the "hunter front tour" are emerging. They bring star power and excitement, attracting a younger generation of racing enthusiasts. However, there are concerns about the organization of such events and their potential impact on traditional racing tours.

In today's racing landscape, star power and attracting younger fans are essential. The challenge lies in finding a balance between these new, exciting ventures and the established, traditional races that have been the foundation of the sport for years.

Embracing Your True Self

As we navigate the complex world of racing and entertainment, it's crucial to stay true to who you are. Don't let the expectations of others or the stereotypes of the sport hold you back. Be unapologetically yourself in 2023 and beyond. It's a new era, and the time is now to let your true self shine through. Remember, you are your most valuable asset, and your authenticity is your superpower. So, rev up those engines, embrace your uniqueness, and let the world see the real you.

This is the era of positive change, where individuality reigns supreme, and the racing world is ready for your unapologetic self. Let's make 2023 a year of transformation and authenticity in the world of racing and beyond.
