Today, I'm on a mission to craft the one and only Moonbyul signature perfume to wear with my beloved moonbyul2rang. Yes, you heard it right; it's my first-ever MD (Moonbyul2da Merchandise)!

So, where do you go to create a unique perfume that embodies your essence? Well, I've headed to the enchanting Maison 21G Atelier in Cheongdam, a scent house that's poised to make my fragrance dreams come true. But before we dive into the nitty-gritty of perfume crafting, let's take a moment to explore this aromatic haven.

A Whiff of Maison 21G

As I step into Maison 21G, I'm instantly drawn to its incredible vibe. The atmosphere here seems to resonate with my own personality, filled with vibrant energy and an array of colors that reflect my essence. It feels like I've absorbed all these shades into my very being. It's like I've found my spiritual home.

But before we delve into the scent selection, let's take a moment to understand the brand, MAISON 21G, for those who might not be familiar. MAISON 21G stands for something intriguing - 21 grams. It might sound unusual, but there's a fascinating story behind it. You see, there's a belief that the human body loses 21 grams at the moment of death. This was an experiment conducted by averaging the weight lost by six individuals upon passing away. It's an intriguing idea, isn't it? So, this brand not only captures your preferences and individuality but also your soul, hence the name.

Now, back to the world of scents. MAISON 21G offers a staggering 47 different scents, each as unique as the person who wears it. To find the perfect scent for you, they have an AI-based personal scent tester, similar to the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator for personality. This tool recommends scents based on your preferences and provides a tailored experience.

The Authentic Scent

After going through the scent test, I found myself labeled as the "Authentic" type. I respect the value of life more than anyone else, place immense worth in sincerity, and am as stable as a rock. It sounds like a lot of brainwashing, but it's pretty spot-on, and I'm slowly falling for this description. Authentic people like me have distinct preferences that truly define us. We know ourselves best, and we're precise about what we want. So, instead of the perfumer recommending, I take the lead to guide you to the eight scents that align with my authentic nature.

Crafting My Signature Scent

Now, it's time to dive into the scent selection. We began with the top note, where I discovered a unique blend of the Poetic Pear and the Muguet Muse. I mixed the two test sheets, and the scents combined in a surprising and delightful way, just like life's unexpected twists. My philosophy is that the real essence of a perfume is in its sillage, the lingering trail it leaves in the air.

For the middle note, I chose Sage Supreme, an aromatic and charismatic scent that fits my personality. Finally, for the bottom note, I selected Vintage Violette, a blend of violet and patchouli. These three layers came together to create a perfume that perfectly encapsulates my essence.
