But Love Week is just the beginning. The ultimate goal is a series of stadium events, called Luke 4 18 Gatherings, taking place simultaneously in ten locations across the state. These gatherings are named after Luke 4:18, which says, "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free."

Gathering the Harvest

The vision is clear: to see stadiums filled with believers, united in their mission to bring salvation, healing, and transformation to California. The goal is to bring in thousands of people who are hungry for a new life in Christ. And with venues like the capital steps in Sacramento, a pier in San Francisco, and a festival venue park in Santa Barbara, the organizers are ensuring that these events will be iconic and impactful.

There is a sense of anticipation and expectation among those involved in the Up California movement. They believe that California is on the cusp of a new day, a day where the sun rises on the west coast, where revival and transformation sweep across the entire state.
