It has been determined that a mobilization committee be formed, led by our secretary of conflicts and composed of representatives from various sectors including teachers, doctors, factory workers, retirees, and other associations that have joined us. Together, we have decided to organize a peaceful protest on Wednesday, simultaneously across the entire country.

The Need for Clarity

I recently had a meeting with all the federation presidents who are actively working alongside other sectors to plan this march. Our main concern stems from the fact that since last year, we have been engaging in discussions with the deputy ministry of pensions and the management team, yet we have not received any clear response regarding how the management of resources will be handled.

We are aware that May 15th is the deadline for the management team to begin administering these funds. However, up until now, there is absolutely no clarity on the matter. What we do not want is for these resources, which belong to all Bolivian workers, to be managed arbitrarily. We believe this poses a high risk. It should not be left solely in the hands of the government or any particular group to handle the hard-earned savings of Bolivians accumulated over many years.

Furthermore, during a meeting with the vice minister of pensions, it was revealed that they were in the process of hiring a consultant who would decipher the mathematical formula for calculating pensions. However, to date, they have not shared with us the results of this consultancy conducted for the management team. This lack of transparency is deeply concerning.

Protecting Workers' Rights

As representatives of various sectors and associations, we are genuinely worried about this entire situation. We understand the importance of safeguarding workers' rights and ensuring fair treatment when it comes to their pension funds. It is crucial that every worker's contribution is respected and properly managed.

We firmly believe that transparency and accountability should be at the forefront of any decision-making process regarding the administration of these resources. It is not only a matter of financial security for individuals but also a reflection of the trust that workers have placed in the system.

A Peaceful March for Change

In light of these concerns, we have decided to take action and organize a peaceful march. This demonstration is not just about voicing our discontent; it is a call for change and a demand for transparency. We want to ensure that the management team understands the gravity of the situation and takes immediate steps to address our concerns.

By coming together as one united front, representing
