In this episode of Producer , I wanted to address an issue that many of you have been curious about - how I handle the negative comments and reactions I receive online. To be honest, there was a time when these comments really bothered me. When I first debuted as an idol, I would search my name on Twitter and read hurtful comments about my appearance. People would say they hated my face but not my talent. It was tough, especially since I didn't fit the mold of a typical Korean idol.

But as I've grown older, I've realized that the more people love you, the more critics you'll have. So, instead of dwelling on the negativity, I've chosen to focus on the support I receive from my fans and the genuine connection I have with them through my music. Success to me is about finding fulfillment in what I do, and I believe that I am on my way to becoming successful in my own unique way. So, for those who don't like me or believe I will never find success, that's perfectly fine. I'm happy where I am, and I hope you're also working towards your own goals and dreams.

Reacting to Specific Tweets: Addressing the Critics

Now, let's dive into some specific tweets I came across.

One tweet mentioned that they never liked me in the first place. Well, thank you for sharing that, but you don't have to like me. As for finding success, that's subjective. Personally, I believe I have accomplished a lot over the past 10 years, and I am proud of what I have achieved. Despite not achieving the same level of success as some other K-pop groups, I have the support of my fans, and that is what matters to me the most. So, I would say I am somewhat successful in my own way.

Another tweet called me ugly and compared me to a Cabbage Patch Kid. Now, I don't really understand why people feel the need to comment on my appearance. We all have our own unique beauty, and I am confident in who I am. If you don't find me attractive, that's fine. But let's not forget that beauty is subjective, and the opinions of others shouldn't define our self-worth.

Moving on, someone labeled me as the "ugliest K-pop idol" and went on to criticize my personality. Firstly, how can someone judge my personality without even knowing me? Have we ever met before? It's absurd to make assumptions about someone's personality based on their public image. And as for my music taste, well, that's a matter of personal preference. If you think my music taste sucks, that's okay. We all have different tastes, and diversity is what makes the world interesting.

Lastly, I received a tweet saying that my recent song was "kind of boring." Well, not every song will resonate with everyone, and that's perfectly fine. I appreciate the fact that you still love me despite not enjoying that particular song. We all have different preferences, and it's impossible to please everyone.

Holding on to Hope and Future Collaborations

Despite the negativity, I want to share my excitement for future collaborations and coming together with my fellow girls. In a recent side project called "Havana Girl," I brought all the girls together because I wanted to give something back to our fans. It deeply saddened me to see their frustration when CLC was no longer seen together. I believe in the talent and chemistry we have as a group, and given the right support and opportunities, I'm confident that we could become one of the more popular groups out there.

So, I'm working hard towards bringing the girls back together, and I hope that our time will come soon. There are so many ideas and possibilities, and I know that once we reunite, it will be a game-changer. But until that happens, I want to express my gratitude to all the fans who continue to support us. Your love and encouragement mean the world to me.

Embracing Myself and My Music

In conclusion, I want to stress that I'm not here for the criticism about my looks or personal preferences. I'm here to make good music and be the best performer I can be. My goal is to entertain and connect with my fans through my art. So, if you don't appreciate my appearance or my music, it's okay. We all have different tastes, and that's what makes the world diverse and exciting. It's important for me to focus on creating music that I'm proud of and that resonates with my fans.
