A Baffling Discovery

In early May, the lifeless body of Mahira, a student at Sumatera Utara University, was found in her home located in the Rivera Complex of Medan Amplas District, Medan City. The circumstances surrounding her death raised suspicions among her family members. When Mahira's house was discovered, it was locked from the outside, leading her family to believe that foul play was involved. Furthermore, they suspected that the will left behind by Mahira might be a forgery.

Oki Andriansyah, Mahira's uncle and also the family's legal representative, revealed that the family became aware of her absence from university for an entire week. Alongside security personnel from the housing complex, they decided to visit Mahira's residence. After forcefully opening the door, they made a grim discovery - Mahira had passed away. To their surprise, Mahira's adoptive father insisted on a swift burial and vehemently opposed any autopsy being performed on her body.

But in this case, it was on the outside. When the iron door was opened, the wooden door remained closed. It could have been opened, but it wasn't. After that, the electricity went out and it was dark. I stumbled and fell because of the darkness. Her adoptive father then said, "Oh no, Ira slipped."

Unraveling the Mystery

The investigation into Mahira's death is still ongoing, with the police conducting a thorough inquiry. On May 13th, her grave was exhumed to perform an autopsy. The Kompas TV Medan team was present
