With its 39 barangays, this park offers everything from government services to shopping centers, hospitals, markets, colleges, and hotels. Unlike what we're used to, government offices here are air-conditioned, with comfortable waiting areas that shield you from the blazing sun.

Alaminos, the town near the Hundred Islands National Park, is famous not only for its breathtaking scenery but also for its unique sausage, longanisa. With garlic and sea salt flavors and bamboo or palm leaf dividers, it's a one-of-a-kind delicacy.

After a satisfying grocery shopping spree, we indulged in a fast-food restaurant meal. The Philippines has a unique form of transportation - the jeepney. Resembling a colorful carriage, it added a touch of magic to our journey home.
