I have a deep appreciation for Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), especially the one I am associated with. The beauty of these institutions lies in their rich culture and the unique experiences they offer. I have had the privilege of both playing and coaching at an HBCU, and I can confidently say that the sense of family and togetherness is unmatched.

One aspect that truly sets HBCUs apart is the close-knit community they foster. At my HBCU, aptly nicknamed "Poppin," the community is tight-knit and welcoming. It feels like everyone is family, and this extends beyond just the students. Our team, in particular, embodies this spirit, treating each other like family.
