In this room, I see familiar faces that have been instrumental in my own personal and professional development. There's Pak Beni Kaharman, a trusted colleague and my go-to reference for matters of politics. Together, we have led the way in the MPR's policy-making body, with him focusing on politics and me on the economy.

Then there's the dynamic duo of Bangsa Ganda and Mas Anton, who I have the pleasure of engaging with in regular discussions. We meet at a forum where we conduct in-depth studies, drawing inspiration from their expertise and using it as a foundation for our own research.

And how can I forget Pak Ramadan Pohan, a name that needs no introduction? Despite our different party affiliations, he has always been a guiding light in our decision-making processes. We communicate, debate, and ultimately reach a consensus that benefits our nation as a whole.

New Connections: Embracing Change

As I look around, I also see new faces, like my dear friend Pak Mustafa, who offered a heartfelt prayer for the betterment of our nation. His words resonated with all of us, reminding us of the importance of unity and progress.

And on the other side of the room, I proudly announce the presence of Pak Handi, a leader in the field of economics at DPP PKS. His insights and wealth of knowledge are invaluable to our discussions. Alongside him is Pak Teguh, an old friend whose thoughts and ideas have always been a source of inspiration for me.

Lastly, I want to acknowledge my companion in the fight for justice and equality, someone who has stood by my side during our time in Kalimantan. Together, we have worked tirelessly to mediate conflicts and bridge the gap between the people and their leaders.

The desire for a third term in office, which was initially dismissed as mere speculation, gained unexpected traction when the court ruled in favor of a two-year and four-month delay in the elections. The timing, precisely seven days, seemed too perfect to be a mere coincidence.

This turn of events highlights the need for us to take action. The political landscape, which was once dominated by a coalition of parties, has now become more fragmented. Even the remaining six-party coalition might face further division, potentially creating new opposition groups.

Today, as we engage in discussions centered around the theme of "Reconstructing Indonesia for the Prosperity of the People," it becomes evident that we need to challenge our conventional way of thinking. We cannot simply rely on physical attributes, like gray hair or wrinkled faces, to determine the quality of our leaders. Such criteria are irrational and do not align with our vision for a progressive nation.

The high poverty and unemployment rates, coupled with the exploitation of our natural resources by foreign entities, have pushed us further away from our national goals.
