In my previous video on the enigmatic organization known as Shadow Garden, I delved into its origins, history, and core members. However, it has come to my attention that there are still some crucial aspects left unexplored. So, in today's video, I'm here to rectify that by delving into the operational intricacies of Shadow Garden. We'll uncover the structure of their organization, their base of operations, and a few miscellaneous topics that will shed light on this enigmatic group.

The Inner Workings of Shadow Garden

Shadow Garden, a clandestine organization shrouded in mystery, was founded by Sig Kagano, known as Shadow by its members. Shadow not only initiated this enigmatic group but also serves as its ideological inspiration. He holds the highest authority within the organization, and his orders are considered absolute, surpassing even the directives of the Seven Shadows.

The organization's culture revolves around Shadow's teachings, treating his words as divine scriptures. Some members even revere him as an all-powerful being, though this extreme devotion has led to the emergence of a renegade faction, led by Zetta, one of the Seven Shadows.

Let's explore the positions within the Seven Shadows:

  • Alpha is the second-in-command, effectively the acting leader.
  • Beta serves as the operations coordinator and head of mission logistics.
  • Gamma oversees administration and finances.
  • Delta, a formidable fighter, is the main force in combat.
  • Epsilon is the head of espionage and infiltration.
  • Zeta, who created the Renegade Faction, is responsible for exploration and reconnaissance.
  • And lastly, Theta leads research and development and also plays a key role in designing the organization's infrastructure.

The Ordinary Members: The Numbers

Shadow Garden consists of ordinary members known as the Numbers, individuals rescued and trained by the Seven Shadows. To ensure secrecy, they are required to relinquish their identities and are assigned numerical designations. The numbers' designations roughly indicate their authority within the organization, with lower numbers holding more significant roles.

As the organization grew, new recruits were trained by Lambda, and the Numbers took on various roles based on their abilities, such as fighters, squad leaders, researchers, and spies. Interestingly, many Numbers worked as employees within the Mitsubishi company to maintain civilian personas for infiltration missions.

Additionally, there is a subgroup of exceptional Numbers known as the Name Numbers, recognized for their unique abilities and strength. They are granted Greek alphabet names, such as Alpha, Beta, and Omega, and often serve as direct subordinates to the Seven Shadows.

The Search for a Sanctuary: The Rise of Alexandria

Initially, Shadow Garden operated from an abandoned village, where Sid, the mastermind behind the organization, first met Alpha. However, as the organization expanded, secrecy became increasingly difficult to maintain. This led to the search for a new base of operations, which led them to the ancient city of Alexandria within the Abyss Woods.

Alexandria's natural defenses include steep cliffs, the Abyss Woods, and a deadly poison mist from the Miss Dragon. To bolster their security, ITA, one of the Seven Shadows, constructed a defense system based on Sid's teachings. This system requires intruders to defeat each of the Seven Shadows in a knockout system, culminating in a showdown with Shadow himself.

In addition to defense, Alexandria's fertile lands allowed the cultivation of cacao, coffee, and other crops. Gamma established plantations around the city, producing various chocolate and coffee products, and also other crops like tea. Despite this, most of the Seven Shadows rarely stayed in Alexandria, often operating from the mansion in the Midgar Kingdom.

Standardization and Unusual Equipment

In their quest for secrecy, Shadow Garden standardized the fighting styles and combat techniques of its members. Regardless of individual strength or preferences, all members were trained to fight the same way, making it harder for enemies to target specific individuals. Additionally, the organization adopted swords as their main weapons, symbolizing unity under Shadow.

Shadow Garden's remarkable equipment includes the Slime Bodysuit, a versatile piece created by Sid. Made from reverse mithril, this bodysuit enhances offense and defense while offering flexibility. It can change color and texture, making it invaluable for infiltration missions.

Other notable equipment includes the Locator, created by ITA, for detecting demon possession. The Roller Point and Instant Camera aid in intelligence gathering, and the Telegraph Key enables long-range communication using Morse code.

Unraveling the Enigma

So, there you have it – a deep dive into the inner workings of Shadow Garden, from its organizational structure to their unique equipment. This clandestine organization, steeped in secrecy and united under Shadow's banner, continues to operate in the shadows, with countless mysteries waiting to be unveiled. As we eagerly await further developments, one thing is clear: Shadow Garden is far from ordinary and teeming with secrets yet to be uncovered.
