March 6 started with a detailed staff meeting where we reviewed the operational situation at key points of hostilities. The commander-in-chief, commanders, and intelligence officers provided their reports and insights. However, it was the situation in Bakmut that dominated the discussion.

Unfortunately, there is a lot of misinformation circulating among those who don't even have access to confidential defense discussions. They claim to know about alleged decisions on defense issues. As a society, it's crucial to understand the true meaning of our defense operations.

During the staff meeting, a question was raised by one of the attendees regarding the further defense operation in the Bakmut sector. Should we withdraw or reinforce the city? Both Quartet Commander General Sirsky and Commander-in-Chief Zaluzni responded with a unanimous opinion - there should be no withdrawal, but rather a reinforcement of the city's defenses.

I emphasized the need to find appropriate resources to support the brave individuals fighting in Bakmut. Every part of Ukraine matters and there are no Ukrainian trenches where the resilience and heroism of our warriors go unnoticed. The occupiers target us for the sole reason that we are Ukrainians and for our dream of a better Ukraine. But we are fighting back everywhere, destroying the occupier and defending every inch of our country.

Bakmut has already shown significant results, becoming one of the greatest achievements in this war. I extend my deepest gratitude to every soldier fighting in this challenging area, as well as those fighting in other parts of our country. We defend and will continue to defend every part of Ukraine. When the time comes, we will liberate every city and village, holding the occupier accountable for their actions.

Upholding Accountability and Seeking Justice

If it is possible to seek justice legally, then that is the path we will pursue. If we must resort to weapons, then we will do what is necessary to protect our country. Our unity and determination are our strengths. We value the whole of Ukraine and every Ukrainian, and we are aware of the outcome we strive for in this war.

From the very beginning, we have known our objective, and it hasn't wavered. We will always hear "Glory to Ukraine," and millions will respond with "Glory to the heroes." This chant embodies the spirit of our nation - to honor those who have sacrificed their lives for our freedom.

Recently, a video emerged showing the occupiers brutally killing a warrior who fearlessly stood up to them, uttering "Glory to Ukraine." It is our collective responsibility to respond to those words in unity - "Glory to the hero, glory to the heroes, glory to Ukraine." We will not rest until we bring the murderers to justice.

Honoring the Fallen and Paying Tribute to Ukrainian Heroes

I express my gratitude to everyone currently fighting for Ukraine, as well as those who offer their support. We will always remember and honor those who have given their lives for our people's freedom. Our fallen heroes, both past and present, have fought and dreamed of a free Ukraine. They will forever be remembered for their dedication and sacrifice.

Ukraine will emerge victorious from this struggle. Let us all unite under the banner of "Glory to Ukraine" and work towards a liberal and just society.
