Introduction: A Perverse Reality

It is quite perverse to turn innocent children into activists, but what is even more perverse is the way this has been happening, especially with young men. I have witnessed countless examples of this phenomenon, and it breaks my heart. In fact, I had a close friend who tragically took his own life about 15 years ago. He was an early victim of the very thinking that is causing immense harm to young men today. He lived a dismal life, burdened by existential guilt due to the vilification of his masculinity. Clearly, this approach did not work out well for him.

The Plight of Young Men in Schools

I want to shine a light on what is happening in schools, particularly with young men, because the statistics are alarming. Boys are not faring well academically. Teenage boys struggle in Junior High, and men are not pursuing higher education. And even if they do, many do not graduate. Furthermore, a growing number of men are failing to establish meaningful careers and relationships in adulthood. To make matters worse, there is an increasing trend of men opting out of the entire sexual dynamic. This widespread demoralization of men and boys is a cause for concern that cannot be ignored.

The School System's Role in Demoralization

So, how does this demoralization start? It begins in school. The more boisterous, extroverted, and less agreeable boys find it challenging to conform to the traditional classroom setting. They yearn for active exploration and engagement, a certain degree of competitive dominance. However, these natural inclinations are frowned upon in schools. If you are a boy who desires these things, you are labeled as nothing but trouble. From the very start, boys are taught that their intrinsic desires for active play and competitive engagement are morally wrong. This is especially brutal when these inclinations are medicated out of them, as is often the case with attention deficit disorder. The medications used to suppress their natural tendencies only serve to demoralize them further. Boys are made to believe that their proclivity for boisterous activity is inappropriate.

The Demoralizing Training

But the demoralization does not end there. The explicit training boys receive in school compounds the problem. Leftists claim that history is nothing but a patriarchal nightmare, insinuating that the competitive striving inherent in masculinity is merely a manifestation of patriarchal domination and tyranny. This suggestion inflicts guilt on any boy who possesses even a hint of compassion. It leads them to believe that their ambitions are nothing more than the embodiment of implicit tyrannical force. And if a boy manages to escape this demoralizing narrative, the leftists are quick to accuse him of being complicit in perpetuating the eternal rape of the planet.

The Devastating Consequences

I have witnessed thousands of cases of this demoralization, and it is utterly devastating. The depth of demoralization among young men is almost incomprehensible. It is hurting them in profound ways. But it doesn't stop at boys and men. When women are faced with a cohort of demoralized men, it becomes increasingly difficult for them to find suitable partners. Universities are now witnessing a skewed gender ratio, with two women for every man. This is detrimental for women who are seeking fulfilling relationships. The notion that "there are no good men" is a direct consequence of the destruction of boys and men. The pool of eligible partners has significantly shrunk.

The Need for Change

As a parent of a daughter and two sons, I firmly believe that there are inherent differences between the sexes. These differences are present from day one and should not be dismissed or ignored. Treating boys and girls as if they are the same is a grave mistake. While the goal should ultimately be equality, we have not yet reached a point where we can treat them equally. In the meantime, we must do more for boys. We are currently raising a lost generation of boys, and it is alarming how easily their struggles are dismissed. The prevailing attitude seems to be, "Who cares about boys? They have done well enough in history." But we must not turn a blind eye to their plight.

Conclusion: A Call to Action

The demoralization of young men is a grave issue that demands our attention and action. We must recognize the harm caused by turning boys into activists and vilifying their masculinity. It is time to challenge the perverse thinking that is pervasive in our schools and society. We need to create an environment that embraces the unique qualities and inclinations of boys, rather than suppressing them. By doing so, we can prevent the demoralization of future generations and foster a society where both men and women can thrive together. Let us not dismiss the struggles of young men, but instead, work towards a future that uplifts and empowers them.
