When the day of peace dawns and the sun of hope shines, it's time to sing. It's time to sing when the people on the streets smile and the rosebush blooms once again. It's time to dream when the fences fall and tables overflow with bread. And it's time to celebrate when the walls surrounding gardens crumble, allowing the jasmine to flourish once more.

Dancing in the Expectation of Miracles

We have been eagerly awaiting this moment, the moment when we can come together again in the hour of miracles and grace. I have prayed endlessly to God for this moment, and I have no doubt that this perpetual novena to Saint John Paul II has touched the lives of many with grace and blessings. How wonderful it is to have you join us in this novena! Today marks the third day, and I invite you to pray along with us. But before we begin, I want to take a few moments to share and invite you to do the same. Share this novena with your friends and family, post it on social media, and invite more people to join us in prayer. There are so many people out there waiting for this moment, needing this moment to pray together in the novena to Saint John Paul II. So, I thank you for being here with us once again to pray. Embracing the Power of Faith and Reason

In the writings of Saint John Paul II, particularly in his encyclical "Fides et Ratio" (Faith and Reason), he highlights the importance of the Christian revelation as a guiding star for humanity. In a world consumed by materialism and reductionist thinking, the Christian revelation offers the opportunity to rediscover the original plan of love that began with creation. It offers humanity the chance to look beyond oneself and rise above personal projects.

In this perspective, let us pray together in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Spirit of God, today, once again, we surrender ourselves to your power and love. Flood this moment, flood the lives of each person who is joining us, with your grace and power through the intercession of Saint John Paul II. Spirit of God, bring to fruition the work of the Father in our lives in the name of Jesus. Amen.

An Invocation to Saint John Paul II

Let me now share a passage from the writings of Saint John Paul II in his encyclical "Fides et Ratio" (Faith and Reason), on the third day of our perpetual novena. "Christian revelation is the true guiding star for humanity, which advances through the conditions of a money-minded mentality and the reductionism of technocratic logic. It is the last opportunity given by God to fully rediscover the original plan of love that started with creation. To the man who anxiously seeks the truth and still has the capacity to see beyond himself and raise his eyes above his own projects, the possibility is given to restore his genuine relationship with his own life by following the path of Truth, Faith, and Reason."

Praying Together in the Novena

Now, let us pray together in the novena to Saint John Paul II. Lord God, I kneel before you to bless and glorify your name. I thank you for guiding us on the path of life and for the saints you have given us as intercessors and models. Merciful God, today I give thanks for Saint John Paul II, the Polish Pope who exemplified a life dedicated entirely to God and to humanity, always guided by the love of God. Amen.

João, would you kindly read the prayer for the third day? "Beloved Holy Father, who have given us the example of a life entirely devoted to God and to humanity, always guided by the love of God, teach me to be devoted, teach me to be a vessel of love, so that, by following your example, I serve God and my fellow human beings. May my heart always be open to God's love and may I experience the strength that comes from love, in the sacrament of Penance and Reconciliation, in the sacrament of the Eucharist, and in my daily prayers. Help me to show love to my fellow human beings, to those I encounter on the journey of life, so that I may comfort their hearts and lead them to the love of God. I implore you to intercede for me with God, that I may obtain the special grace I so desperately need."
